The Holly Jolly Lodge

Got little ones who can’t wait to whisper their wish lists to Santa?

Upper Canada Mall’s charming Holly Jolly Lodge has just what you’re looking for.

Found in the centre court on the lower level by Dollarama, the mall is “so excited to welcome guests to experience the magic of the holiday season at Upper Canada,” says Marketing Manager Christine Seidman. And it is, in fact, magic.

Every year, Upper Canada Mall decks its halls with festive décor that takes you straight to the North Pole. With reindeer, wreaths, and a beautiful tree to celebrate the joyful season, it’s no wonder it’s a holiday favourite!

“We know our community looks forward to the Holly Jolly Lodge, now in its fifth year, which is the official mark of the start of the holidays at Upper Canada. We take pride in offering guests a personal experience within the Holly Jolly Lodge, where they can really enjoy the magic and feel the anticipation build up as they make their way towards Santa Claus himself,” Seidman says.

Not only is the experience magical, but the mall also makes sure to participate in the season of giving. All proceeds of traditional holiday services, such as gift wrapping, return to the mall this year beginning Dec. 1 and will be donated to Girls Inc. of York Region and Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region. Pet photos, in support of the Ontario SPCA, will be available Nov. 16, 23 and 30 from 5 to 8 p.m.

“Spirits will be lifted by our massive Christmas tree and festive décor around the centre including the new Santa’s Snowman Village in support of the Southlake Foundation, located in Market Court, where guests can snap a pic with our friendly snowmen and Santa’s sleigh and have the option to donate to the foundation,” Seidman says.

Guests are encouraged to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment as walk-ins are limited. And you definitely don’t want to miss out.
