Eat. Sleep. Dance. Repeat.

That’s the motto at Gabie’s Boutique, a destination location for dancers and gymnasts of all ages! Built by three generations of mothers and daughters, the boutique has been part of the Newmarket community for more than 40 years. Mother and daughter duo Gisela and Gabie opened the boutique selling dance apparel and sportswear in 1979 when Newmarket had only one dance studio!

Skip to the next generation and a few moves to expand their storefront, Gabie’s is now run by Gabie and her eldest daughter, Amy Manning. Together, they have carried on the family tradition of creating a joyful, inclusive space that promotes and celebrates diversity within dance.

“While we carry everything dancers need, what sets up apart is also carrying what dancers want!” says co-owner, Amy. “From the latest dancewear trends to accessories and items that make dance life easier, you’ll find it all at Gabie’s in our stunning 3,000 square foot location with staff that are dancewear experts.”

With dancewear from over 40 manufacturers, there’s always something new and exciting to shop for at Gabie’s! Whether it’s fun items like their “H-Tuto-O” water bottles or locally sourced gifts from women-owned businesses like Rhythm Jewellery, (a line of jewelry designed and inspired for dancers) you’ll be walking out the door with the perfect gift faster than you can say ‘and 5, 6, 7, 8!’

Aside from the many products and dancewear exclusive to the store, Gabie’s warm and friendly staff offer great customer support for those needing it. Follow the staff through their tutu archway to find the perfect piece for your next convention or schedule a pointe shoe fitting to work one-on-one with a fitter to find the best shoes for you.

Jeté over to their storefront at 18075 Leslie St or follow Gabie’s on Instagram and TikTok @GabiesBoutique for fun series like ‘What’s in My Dance Bag,’ step-by-step ballet bun tutorials, and amazing dance videos!
